Regional Brewery Pop-Up Event @ The Beer Keep aka “A Day in the Hudson Valley” – Buffalo Rising

I still remember when the local bars and restaurants started to take over. There would be crowds of beer geeks lined up along the block, in front of the hospitality establishments, as far as the eye can see.

These days takeovers are quite common. that’s why Cory Muscato, COO of The Beer Keep, decided it was time to do something a little different. Instead of bringing in a single brewery (or cider house) to perform a “drop,” Cory thought, Why not present a drop of a multitude of breweries (and cider houses) from an entire region?

“We’re going to showcase breweries and cider houses in the Hudson Valley for our first tap takeover and first bottle drop,” Muscato said. “We think this will particularly appeal to craft beer enthusiasts. It’s the top tier, with 20 different bottles that people can’t get locally. These selections are generally not available for retail sale outside of breweries and cider houses, as these are the reserve versions. The Hudson Valley is our first regional base. It’s fitting that New York’s Hudson Valley is our first regional feature, as it’s such a huge tourist destination for beer and cider lovers.

Producers participating in the January tap takeover include:

  • Suarez family brewery
  • District 96 Beer Factory
  • Tin Barn Brewery
  • Industrial Arts Brewing Co.
  • Arrowood Farm Brewery
  • Obercreek Brewing Co.
  • Rose Hill Farm
  • Equilibrium Brewery
  • Map Bee Farm Brewery
  • Hudson Valley Brewery
  • Aaron Burr Cider House

“We are delighted to partner with such prolific brands from one of the most exciting regions of our country,” added Muscato. “We went out of our way to put together a lineup of our absolute favorites for this region-focused event. Grab a pint, take a flight, and bring home bottles to enjoy later this winter.

“A Day in the Hudson Valley” takes place on Saturday, January 2, 2022.

Product availability is on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. All beers and ciders will be available for consumption in or take out and will include standard take out discounts. Purchase of bottles limited to 2 per person and per beer for take-out sales. This event is open to closed. Limited event poster prints will be available on the day for $ 5.
